CranioSacral Therapy
for Acute and
Chronic Conditions
|
CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is performed with a client fully clothed, face up (supine) on a padded treatment table.
David has helped many clients dramatically reduce or eliminate suffering from chronic migraines, headaches, jaw pain, TMJ, bruxism, head injuries, pain and trauma caused by motor vehicle accidents and unexplainable pain or other symptoms that have evaded accurate diagnosis and treatment. He has also realized considerable success working with people that have been injured in accidents at their job and those that have suffered other extreme trauma and spent months or years in pain and/or on medications.
Bluhm does not support anyone to go off of their medications without consulting their physician. Instead he prefers to work in conjunction with your Primary Care Physician to achieve the results that will make a difference in your life.
Individuals, their families and physicians that are frustrated with short lived or ineffective results from other treatment protocols may very well find CranioSacral Therapy a viable modality that helps them, their friends, their loved ones or their patients' find partial or complete relief from whatever symptoms that may be experiencing.
While dramatic results have been made within one or two sessions for a handful of clients, it is essential that you come in with no expectations. Bluhm asks that you come in with an open mind and a commitment to taking responsibility for your long term healthcare needs, including maintenance and prevention.
Bluhm does not claim to be the answer for every client that enters his treatment room and he will not hesitate to refer you to another practitioner that he believes may be better suited for your needs if that becomes an apparent necessity.
He will confer with you along with his own intuition to determine if working together is the best option for your needs. The key to this lies in the phrase "working together".
Your body knows best what it needs to reclaim its dynamic equilibrium. A skilled practitioner of CranioSacral Therapy understands this fact and uses only subtle pressure to *remind* your body to return to a point of balance. The subtlety and extraordinary effectiveness realized with CST can be mind boggling.
There are many western physicians that will declare that CranioSacral Therapy is "quackery". Bluhm can show you mounds of research over the past 60 years that will leave you without a doubt that, at the very least, "there is something to it that's beyond our current level of understanding of how the human body works and heals itself."
Research aside, the true beauty and effectiveness of this healing modality can only be understood by experiencing it. Try it for yourself. The results will speak clearly.
In the end, only you get to determine what works and doesn't work for your body. After all, your body is the only true expert except in the most extreme cases. Western Medicine excels in those extreme cases, especially in triage, urgent and emergency care situations.
When all healthcare practitioners learn to work together in the best interest of the patient, we will have truly achieved a new age of excellence in complementary and alternative medicine. Bluhm is committed to this ultimate goal being realized in his lifetime.

Testimonials:
“I have had TMJ for at least 15 years and have spent many thousands of dollars on splints, braces, mouth guards, retainers and more splints.
My Dad's death in July 2007 triggered TMJ far worse than I had ever experienced. When I talked or sang in church or choir I had to hold my jaw to ease the crunching and pain. People around me could hear the crunching and it became impossible to open my mouth more than an inch.
My dentist recommended David Bluhm and CranioSacral Therapy when even my new mouth guard had no affect.
What a difference! I still don't understand fully why this therapy worked when others failed but I am satisfied with knowing that I no longer have pain, crunching, grinding or jaw dislocations.
Thanks David!
