A graduate of Seattle's Brenneke School of Massage in 2004, Bluhm has been extensively trained in CranioSacral Therapy (CST), Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage. Additional training in Trigger Point Therapy, Foot Reflexology, Shiatsu and Tuina (Chinese massage) has allowed him to provide a unique blend of techniques while providing over 2000 hours of therapy for clients in the past six years.
After attending two of the oldest and finest schools of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the United States and completing the vast majority of the work for a Masters of Science in Acupuncture, Bluhm realized that he did not want to stick needles in people for a living. His true gift lies in the application of the principles and techniques of CranioSacral Therapy. He has an enhanced ability through direct contact with his hands; patience, compassion, empathy; and a natural ability to connect with clients and follow the clues their bodies present to facilitate healing.
Bluhm has helped hundreds of people recover from acute and chronic conditions that have not been successfully treated by other modalities.
The in-depth study of the acupuncture points, meridians and healing theories and techniques of Traditional Chinese Medicine provided a terrific opportunity to explore and enhance his understanding of the interconnections between different parts of the human body.
Bluhm will work with you one on one or along with your other healthcare providers to reduce the effects of physical and emotional stress and disease in your body and your life.
If you are experiencing short term or long term illness, it is essential that David be allowed to work in conjunction with your primary care provider(s).
